Cyberbullying is a nightmare which affects both almost all parents and kids or teenagers. If it is a subject that is so important, Let's face with it.
1) Use alcohol and drugs
2) Skip school
3) Be unwilling to attend classes
4) Have lower self-esteem
5) Have more health problems
6) Take poor grades
7) Even Commit a suicide
Cyberbullying victims are between 2 to 9 times more likely to consider suicide than non-victims, according to studies by Yale University.
A study in Britain found that at least half of suicides among young people are related to cyberbullying.
10 to 14 year old girls may be at even higher risk for suicide, according to the study above.
According to statics reported by ABC News, nearly 30 percent of students are either cyberbullies or victims of cyberbullying, and 160,000 kids stay home from school every day because of fear of cyberbullying.
As a teacher, this is the most dangerous subject that we can encounter. In a class, you have to take it under control. Do not discriminate your students because it brings about lots of bullying among teenagers. But do not pretend to be a psychologist, because we are teachers not psychologist. If you think that you can not do this, you can send the students to a psychologist.
