Augmented Reality is to demolish the thin wall between the real world and the virtual world. We can bring the virtual life to the real world due to the augmented reality. The important part for English Teachers is to use augmented reality in a proper way in the class. Its aim is to make the lessons both funnier and more educational.
There are lots of augmented reality now. But I am going to share some of them that I have learnt in Computer 2.
One of them is snapshop which you can replace furniture that you want into a room where you want. As an English teacher, you can use it in the classroom if you want to teach furniture and some lessons like that. The lesson will be more attractive for students. 
The second one is morfo which you can turn a photo into a 3D dimension. In the class, the only thing you need is a face that you can do everything or say whatever you want such as talking about something that you want to teach it to your student or dance like you are in a disco. For instance, if you want to teach your junior group the vegetables or fruits, you can upload a banana picture and add it eyes, mouth and nose to speak. The students will be more happier than they are in a normal lesson. These are some of them. You can find more apps like Aurasma, ColAR Mix - 3D Coloring App, Layar, Heart Cam etc.
