E-Safety

Internet created in the 1960's by the US military is an essential tool in all over the world. From students to teachers or children to elders, everybody use Internet that contain both useful and useless information. While it is useful, it can be dangerous for some points. Therefore, e-safety is an essential progress while browsing the Net.

Yahoo and Gmail keep your email at least for 3 years even if you think that you remove that email from your dustbin. Thus, Do not put anything that is private in Internet because we all have a digital footprint in Internet.

Except for these, almost everybody have an account in social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Almost all of us ignore suggestions about passwords. But it is an important issue in e-safety. Your password should be 12 characters which include both letters and numbers. You had better change your password at least twice a year. Moreover, Do not use the same password for each website that you registered. It is hard to remember the passwords so you can follow these patterns for your accounts:

• Think about your favourite city and assume that it is '' London ''.
• '' London '' is not just enough for a password so use it with numbers. For example, you can use '' Lon123don ''.
• As I said above, use different passwords for each of them. For instance, you can use '' Lon123dong. '' for your Gmail account or for Facebook account, '' Lon123donf. '' .

These steps can prevent hackers from breaking your password until you change it.

Almost everybody have Facebook account in these days. So do frauds. For the safety of your facebook account, you should hide how many friends in facebook account because someone can make a fake account and send messages to your friend saying that you change your facebook account and this is your new facebook account. Your friends will probably believe this message and accept the friend request. Even that person can want money from them as if you had wanted it. This can bring about so many problems. That's why it is important to hide your friends in Facebook. Besides, the other thing that should be hiden is your birthday date.
